Many people do not feel as though prayer really changes things, but it does. If you read in the four (4) Gospels [Matthew, Mark, Luke and John] in the Word of God, you will find countless times when Jesus prayed. If Jesus, the Son of the Living God, had to pray and needed to pray, what would make us think we cannot, should not or do not need to pray. The Word of God tells us to pray without ceasing [1 Thessalonians 5:17], and to watch as well as pray [Nehemiah 4:9; Matthew 26:41; Mark 13:33, 14:38; Luke 21:36; Ephesians 6:18; Colossians 4:2; and 1 Peter 4:7.
